the Turkish Angora

A small to medium-sized cat with a long rather than cobby torso, with boning proportionate to its size.  Its front legs are slightly higher than the back legs, and the tail is carried lower than the body.  The head is a modified wedge with no whisker pinch, smoothly tapered to the chin.  Gentle slope allowed to the medium-long nose.  The ears are set high and erect, wide at the base, pointed and tufted.  The eyes are large and almond-shaped with a slight upward slant.  The coat is silky fine with longer ruff and undersides, and a full brush on tail.  It is recognized in a variety of colors and patterns.
