Legacy of Excellence
Claim Form
The title Legacy of Excellence (LE) was created to honor
ACFA registered cats that have produced multiple Grand Champion offspring. Males
who have sired 10 or more ACFA Grand Champions and Females who have produced 5
or more ACFA Grand Champion offspring qualify for this title. Grand
Championships may be for whole or altered (spayed or neutered) cats. The title
may be awarded to a cat after it has been altered or posthumously.
ACFA Central Office can provide confirmations for any
titles; there is a research charge of $30 per hour to provide this service.
Once a cat has been approved for Legacy of Excellence, the
suffix title "LE" can be used after the cat's full name on all registrations,
pedigrees and other official documents. If you wish the "LE" title to be placed
on these documents, it will be necessary to submit the original
registration certificate to ACFA Central Office and pay the $7 registration fee.
In addition, your cat's photo can appear on the LE page of
annual ACFA Yearbook. A picture of the cat can be mailed or Emailed to the
Bulletin Editor, along with the $10 fee, to have your cat's picture placed in
this special section.
